Check-In

Check-in is from 4:00–7:00 pm. Late arrivals can use the code that is emailed to guests to gain entry. Early check-in may be available.

Check-Out

Check-out is by 11:00 am. If you need to arrange a late check out, call 651-560-2009. Luggage can be stowed in the office. Daily room use charges may be incurred if luggage is not properly packed and stored by room check out time. Late check out may be available.

Room & Incidental Charges

We charge your entire stay the day of your arrival using the credit card used to reserve your stay.

If you would like to change the card on file, please do so upon check-in. Receipts will be sent to the email address on file.

Cancellation Policy

The Davidson has a 48-hour cancellation policy. Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to 4 pm on your check-in date or you will be charged one night's stay plus tax.

Adult Only

The Davidson is ADULT ONLY. No one under the age of 21 is permitted. All rooms are two person occupancy.

Parties Are Not Allowed

There are no parties allowed at The Davidson.

Parking Policy

Street parking only - Driveway is for loading and unloading only. Park for free on Summit Avenue. Please pay attention to posted signs. There are a couple of events where we cannot park on Summit Avenue: Twin Cities Marathon and the Monster Dash in October.

In the winter, we may have to move cars for plowing. The Innkeeper will provide notice.

Accessibility

Only the first floor is accessible at The Davidson. Please be advised that there is no passenger elevator in this historic building. Stairs must be negotiated to reach most rooms. Many bathrooms have a step up as well.

Rooms & Lodging


Damage to Rooms & Other Property

All guests are responsible for care of rooms, furnishings, and equipment while staying at The Davidson.

If rooms are damaged or extremely dirty, guests will be charged replacement costs plus $50/hour to return the room to its original state.

Fireplaces

Please do not attempt to use the fireplaces.

Housekeeping & Maintenance

Housekeepers will clean rooms and supply fresh towels and glasses daily between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

If you have a personal request for them, please leave a specific note as to what is needed in your room. If your “Do Not Disturb” sign is out during this time, they will not service your room.

Incidentals

Need a toothbrush or razor? Need extra blankets or towels? Call or text 651-560-2009.

Lost and Found

The Davidson is not responsible for loss of valuables of any kind. After 30 days, any unclaimed items will be donated. After that, they will be either donated to a local charity or disposed of.

Due to a large amount of forgotten items, if you need us to ship something you have left behind, we ask that you pay the shipping expense.

Keys

Keys are not issued for our rooms. You will be issued a code to open doors via keypads.

Manager on Duty

You can dial 651-560-2009 and then dial “6” to reach our after hours assistance line. Someone is on call 24 hours a day.

Pets

The Davidson has a NO PET policy (with the exception of documented service animals). Failure to comply will result in a $350 fine for cleaning.

Robes

Robes are provided in your room. They are also available for purchase. Should you decide to take home the robe from your room, a charge of $50 will be added to your room account. Please note the robes are to be worn in your room. Please do not wear them outside.

Room Occupancy

Guests must abide by posted maximum occupancy restrictions. Please notify the innkeeper if you need a space for your group to gather.


Quiet time

Quiet time in guest rooms is observed from 10:00 pm until 8:00 am each day. During this time, please refrain from yelling, loud music, running through the halls, etc.

Smoking is NOT allowed

The Davidson is a NON-SMOKING property. If there is any smoking, a fine of $300 will be charged for additional cleaning.
